My name is Malam S. Sawadogo. Mallamkrom is a small village that was founded by my lovely father Sulemana Mallam Sawadogo.
The village has a population of little over five hundred inhabitants. I am one just one of the children of the late Sulemana Mallam Sawadogo. I lived in mallamkrom until I was nine years old. I personaly went to kindergarten at Mallamkrom Elementary School.
In May 2009, My daughter went back to Ghana to visit relatives and since have become astonished by the current conditions of the school. My father built the school for the villagers because until then, there was no school for the children to go to and now the school is about to collapse because the villagers are too poor to maintain the buildings.
Furthermore, the school is home to over sixty students and only three teachers. When I came back to the United States, I decided to start this charity to assist the children of mallamkrom because the school is now in desperate need of repairs and school supplies.
In their words, we also would like to build a vocation school to help graduating students to continues their education after high school. The School would provide training for graduates that can not go to college due to financial reasons to acquire the skill that they need to face today’s job markets.
Perhaps, I can not do this by myself, that's why we are appealing to everyone to make donation in order to maintain and regain better future for the children all around the country.
